As a child and adolescent therapist I bring warmth and compassion earning the respect of my clients and admiration from my colleagues for my skills and expertise.
Living healthy and productive lives are goals that many clients desire when looking for a psychotherapist. The therapy relationship is a healing space to take and sometimes to find the steps on the path to a more satisfying emotional life.
I work with children and teenagers to feel more capable and confidant as they move through the challenges, excitement, and opportunities of their childhood. I work with parents to guide them and help them feel assured in their most important role of raising emotionally healthy children to be independent adults in the 21st century.
I look forward to being part of your and your child’s journey to an emotionally secure and satisfying life together. I bring over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional. My training in clinical social work and human development along with my study of the latest research developments in psychology and the behavioral sciences allows me to be an effective therapist. I have helped hundreds of children and families overcome and manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and conflict with parents, siblings, and peers.
Please contact me for psychotherapy services whether it be helping your child manage the “politics” of the playground, creating a structure for “quality time” with your child, understanding the emotional milestones of your child or teenager, assisting your angry or negative child or teenager, coping with grief, death, illness, or drugs and alcohol, co-parenting with an ex-spouse or ex-partner, helping child be grateful in an age of affluence, or helping your child feel secure in an age of anxiety.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
