There are so many different reasons to attend therapy or to put a child into therapy. To some, having an actual mental health diagnosis may be the only reason for therapy. To others, having someone to talk to outside of family and friends is very valuable. Either way, part of our job is to identify the possible root of the presenting problem. With a solid background in differential diagnosis, we work to understand without labeling and then implement treatment that we know is helpful and effective with any particular diagnosis.
